Over the time Villa Palagione has developed into a locally integrated and internationally renowned centre of cultural exchange and education, which is run by the non-profit organisation "Villa Palagione Centro Interculturale".

We believe that lifelong and holistic learning is an important factor in enhancing one's quality of life. Thus, Villa Palagione aims at creating a balance between culture and education, intercultural encounters, and creativity as well as enjoyment and relaxation.

Villa Palagione also sees itself as an active mediator between different cultures and languages and tries to find new ways of overcoming language barriers and understanding the different ways of living and thinking. It is also involved in European exchange programmes to further intercultural communication and encounters.
