Tuscan Art History
From the Middle Ages to the Present

Tuscany is one of the most important art and cultural landscapes in Europe. This course in art history gives an expertly introduction of major art works featured in the painting collection of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, as well as in the art-history museums of Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano. There also will be a visit to the sculpture park of the artist Daniel Spoerri near Pienza, as well as a wine tasting which will complete the cultural program of the week.
